Guest Speaker: Cheryl Bell is currently pursuing her PhD in Biblical Counseling at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She serves as the Director of the Naylor Children’s Center at the seminary and is actively involved in counseling students who attend the institution. She has served as a teaching substitute in the School of Church and Family Ministry and writes about counseling issues for the Biblical Woman blog at Southwestern. Her area of focused study is Childhood Sexual Abuse and it long-term effects in adult women. She is actively involved in the women's teaching ministry at Birchman Baptist Church where she writes and teaches Sunday School curriculum. Cheryl has been married for 28 years and is the mother of four adult children and the grandmother of two. Her passion is to see women transformed by God’s Spirit and through His Word.
