Guest Speaker: Dr. Mark Shaw is Executive Director of Vision of Hope, a residential ministry for women at Faith Church, Lafayette, Indiana. He serves as the overseeing pastor, shepherding the staff, interns, and residents in that ministry. He teaches the truth and hope found in God’s Word concerning addictions of all types, eating disorders, self-harm habits, and other enslaving issues. In 2007, Mark founded Truth in Love Ministries with the goal of making disciple-makers of others who share his passion for speaking the truth in love for the building up of the Body of Christ. Author of 19 publications, he’s sold more than 50,000 books. Christian readers appreciate his down to earth style of communicating biblical truths. Mark and his wife Mary have 4 children, and can often be found enjoying family time around a board game, on the tennis court, or out on a hiking trail.
